Atia’s Project Ladybug | Charity Event

I am ecstatic to announce that myself, Riley Jolie Photography along with Rose Alene Photography will be photographing the Project Ladybug’s First Chicago Fundraiser at the Grossinger City Autoplex. This fundraiser will benefit Atia Lutarewych, a three-year old Chicago girl who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at 17 months old and Comer’s Children’s Hospital patients and their families. Atia’s Project Ladybug Fund was established to help meet some of those needs, in the hopes of improving the lives of our critically-ill patients and their families.

In partnership with Comer’s Child Life Program and social workers, this fund will provide financial support for daily living expenses such as transportation costs, prescription drugs, rent, groceries, clothing, and other important resources.

For the past 2 years, I was fortunate enough to be asked to contribute my photography services at Hope Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois where Lisa Blackman from Woobie Wear and Pam Horn from If The Bow Fits Boutique donated flower hats and hair bows to children battling pediatric cancer amongst other illnesses.  Each and every child I have met holds a special place in my heart.

Project Ladybug is still looking for items for their silent auction and raffle.
