1st Birthdays are so much fun | Plainfield IL Event Photographer

These two little pumpkins celebrated their 1st birthday with a big surprise.  Elmo and Dorothy made a special appearance at the party which everyone enjoyed.  It was such a big day for these two that they passed out right in the middle of their party.  Being cute and being 1 is a lot of work.  Thanks you to all for letting me capture your special day.  I had a lot of fun and hope to share many more experiences with this family.

Two become four | Plainfield IL Maternity Photographer

This adorable couple united their lives together over a year ago.  Shortly there after they found out that they were expecting a baby.  To their surprise they were not only expecting a baby but they were expecting twin baby boys.  What a pleasant surprise.  I had so much fun capturing this couple and their babies very first photo shoot.  I can’t wait to meet these two little sweet hearts in the next couple of months.  Thank you to Jill and Toby for allowing me to share this wonderful experience with you.

1st birthday’s are so much fun | Plainfield, IL Child Photographer

1st birthday’s are so much fun but they are even better when you get to celebrate them with a cutie pie.  This little sweetheart was just a bundle of joy.  It seems like just yesterday she was born.  Where did the time go and how did she grow so fast?  We had so much fun play and being silly during her photo shoot.  I have to say the best part was her eating her birthday cake.  She was so dainty and sweet while she ate her cake.  Just like a little lady not wanting to get dirty.

Well sweet baby girl HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you.  I can’t wait to share many more special memories with you and your mom and dad.

Atia’s Project Ladybug | Charity Event

I am ecstatic to announce that myself, Riley Jolie Photography along with Rose Alene Photography will be photographing the Project Ladybug’s First Chicago Fundraiser at the Grossinger City Autoplex. This fundraiser will benefit Atia Lutarewych, a three-year old Chicago girl who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at 17 months old and Comer’s Children’s Hospital patients and their families. Atia’s Project Ladybug Fund was established to help meet some of those needs, in the hopes of improving the lives of our critically-ill patients and their families.

In partnership with Comer’s Child Life Program and social workers, this fund will provide financial support for daily living expenses such as transportation costs, prescription drugs, rent, groceries, clothing, and other important resources.

For the past 2 years, I was fortunate enough to be asked to contribute my photography services at Hope Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois where Lisa Blackman from Woobie Wear and Pam Horn from If The Bow Fits Boutique donated flower hats and hair bows to children battling pediatric cancer amongst other illnesses.  Each and every child I have met holds a special place in my heart.

Project Ladybug is still looking for items for their silent auction and raffle. If you would like to donate an item, you can contact Diana Serbick at chicagofund@projectladybug.org. To purchase a ticket for this year’s Fundraiser on April 7, 2011 you can visit http://projectladybug.ticketleap.com/ladybugbash/. If you are unable to attend, but would like to make a donation, please send it to:

Atia’s Project Ladybug Fund
PO Box 221209
Chicago, Il 60622

Please take the time to donate to Atia’s Project Lady Bug Fund.  Its a wonderful cause.

All donations are tax deductible.
I am looking forward to sharing the photos from the event, which I am confident will be a huge success.

Sugar and Spice… |Newborn Photographer

And everything nice.  Thats what little girls are made of.

One of my most favorite things to do is being able to capture a sweet little baby within the first days of their lives.  This little peanut was only 3 days old when she had her very first photo shoot.  She was the most perfect little angel.  I cant wait to go to her house next week to capture more fun memories with the rest of her family.
